ONTARIO TOURISM GROUP DISCOVERS MORE ADVERTISING

The Ontario Tourism Marketing Partnership Corporation is hoping to build on its "Ontario: More to Discover" advertising campaign with new television and print creative. Three 15-second television spots continue to promote Ontario's vacation potential by highlighting the province's outdoor, touring and city tourism options. The spots began a four-week run on major networks including Citytv, CTV and Global on April 23 and will break on specialty networks nationally on May 14. A 32-page newspaper insert has also been created focusing on resorts and outdoor adventure. The inserts were delivered in 15 Ontario and six U.S. border markets in late April. A direct mail component is also scheduled to launch later this month. Advertising for the Ontario Tourism Marketing Partnership Corporation is done by Axmith McIntyre Wicht. Public relations are handled by ETC Communications. Both of these companies are Toronto-based.
