BMO BANKS ON QUEBEC CAMPAIGN

Bank of Montreal is attempting to raise its profile among Quebec consumers with a new $4 million corporate advertising campaign. The French-language effort breaks on Monday with television, print and billboard advertising. The campaign's creative is based on the theme "Profitez" (Profit and Enjoy). Radio advertising is currently running promoting the bank's mortgage loans. The campaign was created by Cossette Communication-Marketing of Montreal. The agency won the bank's Quebec marketing business last fall. According to the company, this campaign is part of BMO's efforts to develop its business in Quebec. The bank operates over 160 branches and employs 4,500 employees in that province.
