JEFFREY PROMOTED TO PRESIDENT JWT NORTH AMERICA

J. Walter Thompson Company has promoted Bob Jeffrey to president of JWT North America. Jeffrey will assume the role in addition to his duties as president of JWT New York. He will be responsible for overseeing the company's North American region which includes seven principal offices and 25 service offices in Canada and the U.S. He succeeds Peter Schweitzer who was appointed worldwide CEO in January.
