MEDIACOM OVERPASS COMPLETED

Mediacom president Brian McLean will join Helen Sparkes, mayor of the City of New Westminster in British Columbia, tomorrow to officially open the new pedestrian overpass at McBride Boulevard and 7th Avenue. Mediacom inked a 20-year agreement with the New Westminster City Council last summer to construct the overpass and operate its advertising faces. Mediacom funded the construction of both the overpass and four "trivision" poster panels located on the structure itself. An additional three panels will be constructed just south of the overpass. Inaugural displays on Mediacom's new advertising faces will be campaign posters designed by students of Glenbrook Middle School. The overpass connects a residential development to the middle school. The students' posters, which carry environmental themes, will run for four weeks.
