KODAK DEBUTS MAX HQ CAMERA
By Adnews Staff
Toronto-based Kodak Canada has launched a new one-time-use camera called the Max HQ. The camera comes pre-loaded with 27 exposures of Kodak Max 800 high speed film. Released last year, Kodak Max 800 film is intended to combine the colour quality, detail and picture clarity of lower-speed films with the benefits of high-speed films. Additional features of the Max HQ camera include a 30 mm lens and an automatic recharge flash which fires every time a picture is taken. Advertising and promotional plans for the Max HQ cameras, which began appearing in stores in mid-March, have not been finalized. Advertising for Kodak Canada is done by Ogilvy & Mather of Toronto. Public relations are handled by Hunter LaVigne Communications of Aurora, ON.
