WATERTOWNE BOTTLING'S EXPANSION PLANS NOW FLOWING

Watertowne Bottling Co., based in Airdrie, Alberta, is planning to expand further into Ontario as well as into the U.S. market this year. The bottled water company, which positions itself as a "modern day milkman," operates 15 franchisees in Alberta, Saskatchewan, British Columbia and Ontario. Roy Lewis, president and CEO of Watertowne, said the company is currently negotiating with 15 franchisees and hopes to add an additional 15 by the end of the year. Watertowne USA, which will also operate from the company's head office in Alberta, will manage all order processing, distribution and accounting functions for U.S.-based franchisees. Also planned is the development of a virtual community at Watertowne.com. In addition to bottled water, the company's products include Watertowne Roasters Coffee and Life O2 super-oxygenated water. Advertising and marketing for Watertowne is handled by RGI Response Generator Inc. of London, ON. Public relations are handled by Gail Bergman Public Relations of Thornhill, ON.
