L'OREAL PARIS HONOURING CANADIAN WOMEN

To mark International Women's Day on March 8, the Canadian subsidiary of L'Oreal Paris will make a donation to the Canadian Women's Foundation as well as give a gift to all women who visit its Web site. The one-day tribute invites women to Lorealparis.ca March 8 to register for their free $40 gift set. For every women that registers to receive the gift set, L'Oreal will make a $2 donation to CWF. A national advertising campaign from Montreal's Marketel is promoting L'Oreal's support of International Women's Day. Fifteen-second television spots will run in English and French on CTV, CBC, WTN, MuchMusic, MuchMoreMusic and TVA today and tomorrow. Print ads in The Globe and Mail as well as in major dailies in Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver, Calgary and Edmonton and banner ads on MSN.ca, Yahoo, Sympatico and Canoe will break tomorrow promoting L'Oreal's efforts. A public relations campaign from Everest relations publiques of Montreal, is also supporting the one-day initiative. Those women who visit the Lorealparis.ca Web site and click on the International Women's Day section, will also be able to send virtual postcards to their friends and family.
