DRAFTWORLDWIDE MERGES CANADIAN OPERATIONS

After fueling up last fall with the acquisition of Toronto-based Fuel Advertising, Chicago-based DraftWorldwide has announced it is merging that agency's operations with DraftWorldwide Canada. The new entity will operate under the DraftWorldwide banner. "DraftWorldwide's goal in Canada is to emulate its U.S. and International operations, and make it easier for our clients to get the full benefit of all the talent that exists in the company," said DraftWorldwide International Group president Perry Miele. Fuel Advertising president Richard Fisher will assume the same role at the new operation. Norm Lehman, previously president of DraftWorldwide Canada, will serve as the agency's general manager of integrated services. No services will be reduced, no reduction in staff is expected and no client conflicts have been reported.
