TD WATERHOUSE AND TORONTO RAPTORS LAUNCH ONLINE PROMOTION

The Toronto Raptors and TD Waterhouse, title sponsor of the Raptors 2000/2001 season, have launched an online promotion called "Score With TD Waterhouse." The contest combines traditional sports marketing with the Internet. Toronto Raptors fans in the Greater Toronto and surrounding areas enter by clicking on the contest banner located at Tdwaterhouse.ca or Raptors.com. The contest is running until March 29. A random draw of all the entries received will award over $100,000 worth of prizes including season tickets for two for the 2001/2002 Toronto Raptors season as well as weekly prizes of Motorola Digital phones and Bell Sympatico High Speed Edition Internet kits. The grand prize is a trip for two to the TD Waterhouse Centre in Orlando Florida to attend the April 6 Magic/Raptor game. The grand prize winner will also meet Chuck Swirsky, the voice of the Raptors, receive $1,000 spending money and have $2,500 deposited in a TD Waterhouse direct trading account. Print, radio and television advertising, arena signage at the Air Canada Centre and POP materials at TD Waterhouse branches in the Toronto area will be used to support the contest. Advertising was done by Integram Marketing Group of Oakville, Ontario, which also developed the online promotion in conjunction with N5R.com of Toronto.
