EDELMAN ADDS, SHUFFLES STAFF

Edelman Toronto has hired five new employees and promoted six others. Joining the agency as account directors are Daniele Gauvin and Brenda Paul-Ishikawa. Both were previously consultants at National Public Relations. Also new to the agency is Peggy McMahan, who has been appointed a senior consultant, Patti Shaw, who joins as a consultant, and Maria Kim, who has been appointed an account coordinator. Most recently McMahan was a consultant at Strategic/Ampersand, while Shaw was public relations manager at Cashback. Kim is a recent graduate of the public relations program at Humber College. Shellie Suter has been promoted to deputy general manager. Joanna Wilson has been promoted to account director in the agency's health practice. Nick Cowling has been promoted to senior consultant, Tanya Wymer to consultant and Laurie Carmichael to account coordinator, all within the agency's corporate practice. Joanne Hunter has been promoted to consultant in Edelman's consumer practice.
