YTV TEAMS WITH TRIO FOR DIGIMON PROMOTION

YTV has partnered with Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment Canada Limited, the Canada branch of Bandai America Inc., and Saban Entertainment to promoting the release of Digimon the Movie on home video and DVD, the Digimon television series and the toy line. On February 16 Digimon fans can participate in a live Web chat with Terri-Lei O'Malley, producer of Digimon the television series and Digimon the Movie. Ten-second billboards running on the network direct viewers to <http://www.ytv.com> to get more information about the Web chat, watch a trailer for Digimon the Movie or see the newest toy in the line, an interactive Digi pal. The Digimon series features seven kids who, while at summer camp, are transported to a digital world where they befriend digital monsters. The movie is based on the television series and tells three separate stories set over the course of eight years. Digimon the Movie will be released on video and DVD on February 6.
