NEW DIRECTOR OF CORPORATE COMMUNICATIONS AT ALTERNA

Ian Fraser has joined Alterna Technologies Group Inc. of Calgary in the newly-created capacity of director of corporate communications. Previously Fraser was head of public relations at SWIFT, a Belgium-based financial communication provider. He has also held positions at Reuters, Hill and Knowlton Asia and Alcan Aluminium. Alterna is a provider of Internet-based liquidity, cash and treasury management solutions.
