MIKE'S HARD LEMONADE ACCOUNT SWALLOWED BY CLIFF FREEMAN

The Mark Anthony Beverage Co., based in Vancouver, has awarded its $10 million account for its Mike's Hark Lemonade brand to Cliff Freeman & Partners of New York, according to a report in AdAge. CF&P was awarded the account in a competitive pitch that included Fallon of New York, Leagas Delaney of San Francisco and TBWA Chiat/Day of Playa del Rey, California. The alcoholic beverage made with vodka and lemonade is expect to compete with hard lemonades from E & J Gallo Winery and others the report said. Company officials could not be reached to confirm if the appointment would effect Mark Anthony's relationship with The BrainStorm Group of Toronto, which was awarded the Mike's Hard Lemonade account last year.
