KELSEY'S JOINS ESSO EXTRA PROGRAM

Casual dinning chain Kelsey's International Inc. of Oakville, Ontario has signed a two-year deal with Imperial Oil to participate in the Esso Extra loyalty program. Beginning January 1, consumers can use Esso Extra points at participating Kelsey's or Montana's restaurants. Points are earned when customers swipe their Esso Extra card or pay with their Royal Bank Esso Visa at one of 2,500 Esso Extra gas stations across the country. "Our research shows that our demographic fits closely with the participants of the Esso Extra program and so it made perfect sense for us to join forces," said Nils Kravis, president of Kelsey's International. Point of sale materials at Esso stations will promote the addition of Kelsey's to the program. Public relations for Kelsey's are handled by Praxis Public Relations of Burlington, Ontario.
