Thursby & Associates of Toronto has been hired to handle the branding program for the Financial Planners Standards Council. Thursby was referred to the client by the incumbent agency Convergence Media Inc. of Toronto, which resign the account due to a client conflict. Thursby will be responsible for the branding of the Certified Financial Planner mark. The CFP credential is recognized by the financial services industry as distinguishing financial advisors who have met the standards of the council. Thursby will provide the council with branding strategy, advertising and marketing communications services. Work has already begun on a new print and Web advertising campaign scheduled to launch by the end of the year.
