Cossette Communication Group has promoted Ian Saville to senior partner, corporate development, effective Dec. 11, 2000. In his new role, Saville will be responsible for corporate development in Canada and the U.S. with a focus on U.S. acquisitions. He currently serves as president of Cossette Toronto and co-president of Cossette Montreal. Succeeding him in those two roles will be Philip Donne. Donne will join Cossette from Kellogg Canada where he has served as president for the past two years.

DoubleClick Canada has announced a number of appointments and promotions. Lara Leyton, Kristie Painting and Natashia Iglic have been appointed strategic account managers. Most recently, Leyton was an account manager at Rogers Media Publishing, Painting was a retail sales manager for NOW magazine and Iglic was a national sales executive at Pattison Outdoor. Those three are joined by recently appointed account manager Brady Joel and account executives Mary Kitchen and Stephanie Orefice. Joel is a recent graduate of Western University, Kitchen was a content developer for dot com products at Rosenblatt & Associates and Orefice was at Market Space where she worked in administration. On the rise within the company is Mark Trussell who has been promoted from regional account manager to manager, sponsorships and new products and Jocelyn Brown who is promoted from the position of account executive to account manager.

Kimberley Walsh is joining the relationship marketing division of MacLaren McCann, MacLaren MRM, as senior vice president, creative director. Walsh comes from Impiric where she most recently worked as group creative director.
