CALEXIS JOINING CANADIAN GOLF TOUR

Calexis Advertising of Toronto has extended its relationship with The Canadian Professional Golf Tour after being named agency-of-record on Nov. 1. Calexis first began working with the Tour in 1998 when it was hired to design and develop the Tour's official Web site at <http://www.cantour.com>. Based on that working relationship Calexis was appointed AOR, Barry Milavsky, president of Calexis, explained. Previously the account was handled in-house. Milavsky said part of the tour's decision to move to an external agency was because it had grown over the past four years. Rob Gilroy, formerly communications director for The Canadian Professional Golf Tour, has joined Calexis. Gilroy will lead the account's team as its works to increase the tour's profile among the men's developmental golf circuit.
