Tony Powell has joined Toronto-based Webfeat as senior relationship manager. Powell joins the Internet communications company from The Globe and Mail where for the past seven years he served as advertising account manager for publishing, bookselling, home video and music clients.
A trio of new hires has joined CTV's programming communications department. Margaret Sirotich has been appointed manager of programming communications. She will be working with Mike Cosentino, director of programming communications, on the creation and execution of media campaigns for CTV shows. She joins CTV from Mirvish Productions where she worked as publicity manager. Amber Nasrulla has been appointed manager of programming communications for news, current affairs, documentaries and talk TV. She joins CTV full-time after working on contract for the past six months. Renee Dupuis has been appointed coordinator within the department, taking over for Anne-Marie La Pointe, who has been appointed publicist for The Comedy Network. Dupuis was previously program service coordinator for CTV's programming department.
