THORNLEY FALLIS APPOINTS FALLIS PRESIDENT, THORNLEY CHAIRMAN

In response to its rapid rate of growth, Thornley Fallis Communications has appointed Terry Fallis president and chief operating officer and Joseph Thornley chairman and chief executive officer. Most recently serving as executive vice president, Fallis assumes the day-to-day responsibilities of the agency from Thornley who moves into his newly created position. The two founded the communications consulting firm five years ago. Fallis said the changes within the agency's senior management are in response to TFC's recent growth, citing several major client assignment wins including new projects for Nike Canada, the Equity Retirement Rewards account and the Aventis Pasteur win. The agency has also seen its staff grow and the need for its Toronto office to expand. Fallis is based out of the firm's Toronto office which has about 20 employees and Thornley, out of the firm's Ottawa office, which has an additional 10 employees.
