SUBWAY RESTAURANTS SINGING THE BLUES IN NEW PROMOTION

Subway Restaurants of Milford, Connecticut has teamed up with Nickelodeon and Paramount Home Entertainment for a new in-restaurant promotion supporting the launch of Blue's Big Musical Movie on videocassette and DVD October 3. The movie is the first full-length feature based on the Nickelodeon pre-school program Blue's Clues. The Subway promotion launches October 2 and runs until November 19. When customers order a Subway Kids Pak they will receive one of four toys tied to the video. Subway will support the promotion with a three-week North American television campaign. Advertising for the submarine sandwich chain is done by Messner Vetere Berger McNamee Schmetterer/EURO RSCG of New York.
