N5R.COM ORCHESTRATES NEW ONLINE INITIATIVE

To promote its upcoming season, the Toronto Symphony Orchestra has turned to N5R.com to create a new online consumer initiative. Toronto-based N5R.com, which provides online digital marketing solutions to clients including Sears Canada, Rogers AT&T, Tridel and National Post, created a five-week "Escape From Reality! Win it! Live It!" consumer contest on the TSO's Web site at <http://www.tso.on.ca>. The contest launched August 8 and runs until September 8. Eight weekly prizes are available, as well as a grand prize of a "Toronto dream day" valued at over $7,000. The day includes limousine transportation to the Metropolitan Hotel where the winner and a guest will receive a night's accommodation, a shopping spree at Yorkville, lunch at the Four Season's Studio Cafe, a red carpet welcome to the opening night of the TSO and an exclusive chat at intermission with guest soloist Christian Tetzlaff. The TSO is promoting the contest with prints ads in the Toronto Star and Globe and Mail, a banner ad on globeandmail.com, spots on Classical 96.3 and 103.1 and CHFI FM 98, through posters and signage at Roy Thomson Hall and a direct e-mail push to the TSO database. Entrants fill out a questionnaire to be eligible to win and a random draw of all the entries received will determine the grand prize winner. Advertising for "Escape From Reality! Win it! Live!" was done by Art & Soul of Toronto. Public relations for N5R.com are done by Holmes Creative Communications, also of Toronto.
