THUNDER BAY HIRES PATTISON FOR TRANSIT SHELTERS
By Adnews Staff
The City of Thunder Bay has awarded its transit shelter advertising program to Pattison Outdoor Advertising of Toronto. The program had been with Toronto-based Mediacom for the past 17 years but following the conclusion of that contract the city decided to tender the program instead of re-negotiating a contract with Mediacom. Proposals for the program were received from both Mediacom and Pattison. Pattison's proposal involves an increase in revenue for the city, replacing all existing advertising shelters and adding 20 new shelters. Pattison won a five year agreement with the option to continue for an additional five years. National sales will handled out of Toronto, with operations, regional and local sales to be handled out of Thunder Bay.
