SUN-RYPE READY TO GO

Food and beverage company Sun-Rype Products Ltd. of Kelowna, British Columbia is focusing on its Fruit to Go fruit snacks in a new consumer advertising campaign this fall. The campaign will launch in conjunction with the back-to-school season at the beginning of September in central and eastern Canada. Outdoor advertising and print ads in parenting and lifestyle magazines such as Today's Parent, Canadian Living and Chatelaine will be supported with a sampling program in shopping centres and an online contest. In-stores, Sun-Rype will also use shopping cart advertising as well as a new merchandising program. Lawrence Bates, president and CEO of Sun-Rype, said the ad campaign will remind consumers of both the convenience and health attributes of the Fruit to Go snacks. Sun-Rype's advertising agency-of-record is Palmer Jarvis DDB of Vancouver.
