David Perry has been hired by Colorado's ski trade association, according to an Associated Press article published in the National Post. Currently vice president of sales and marketing for Intrawest Corporation's Whistler/Blackcomb resort, Perry will replace John Frew as president and chief executive of the trade association. Frew announced his resignation last month. Perry is widely credited for helping Whistler/Blackcomb become the most popular ski resort, the report says, with over two million ski visitors a year.

Vancouver-based PhotoChannel Networks Inc. has appointed Susan Schaffer vice president of marketing for its U.S. operating subsidiary PhotoChannel, Inc. In this position Schaffer will be responsible for the company's marketing activities including management of the branding and marketing strategy for the PhotoChannel online photo print service. Most recently she was director of marketing communications for the digital and imaging system group at Olympus America Inc., a digital and conventional film camera company.
