BELL SYMPATICO PROMOTES HIGH SPEED INTERNET SERVICE

Bell Sympatico is using a 30-minute infomercial and a 60-second TV spot to promote its high speed Internet service. Rob Payne, associate marketing director at Bell Sympatico, said the company wanted to use a medium that would provide enough time to explain the service to consumers. "An infomercial was the obvious choice," he said. A full rollout of both the infomercial and TV spot is scheduled for mid-August. Both were created by Northern Lights Direct Response Television of Toronto. Media was handled by Cossette Communication-Marketing Inc.
