HEWLETT-PACKARD LOOKING TO DEVELOP WHAT'S UNDER THE SUN

Hewlett-Packard (Canada) Inc. of Mississauga, Ontario, working with canada.com, is encouraging Canadians of all ages to grab their cameras and see what develops. Over the summer, HP will be holding three separate online photo contests at <http://www.southam.com/hp/summerfun>. Amateur photographers are encouraged to send in their summer photos for a chance to win a HP PhotoSmart photo printer or a HP DeskJet wide format printer. Beginning the first day of every summer month, participants can email their digital images on that months theme or mail them on disk. A different theme is featured each month. A banner ad on the canada.com site and promotion on HP's Web site at <http://www.hp.com> will direct consumers to the contest site. The site will be updated with new entries each week and winners announced on the last day of each month. Public relations for the consumer marketing business of Hewlett-Packard is handled by BenchMark Porter Novelli of Toronto.
