PALM DRIVES INTO NEW INTERNET DEPARTMENT

Montreal-based Palm Advertising has launched its own interactive department following an assignment from client Volkswagen. The assignment was to create the New Beetle Cup 2000 Web site on behalf of Volkswagen of America. The New Beetle Cup is scheduled to take place June 16 through 18 during the Air Canada Grand Prix event in Montreal. The bilingual micro-site, which went live last week and is accessible directly from Volkswagen's main Web site <http://www.vw.com>, will have its content changed on a weekly basis. Visitors can take a virtual tour of Montreal the "Volkswagen Way", as well as find details and information on the event itself. The new interactive department at Palm will be headed up by Francois Bedard and increases the number of Palm Advertising employees to more than 85.
