ZELLERS DEBUTS NEXT GENERATION OF CATALOGUES
By Adnews Staff
Zellers Inc. of Brampton, Ontario has introduced the latest addition to its two-year-old Generation Z incentive program with the launch of the Gen Z catalogue. The catalogue, which made its debut in Zellers stores across Canada Friday, features over 130 items that Gen Z members can redeem points towards including: Nokia Cell phones, Sony Walkmans, tickets to WWF events and coupons for Burger King. Zellers originally launched the Gen Z program, targeting kids and teenagers under 17 years, in October 1998. Gen Z members are electronically linked with a parent or guardian who is a member of Zellers Club Z program. For every dollar spent by an adult member, 100 Club Z points are awarded to the adult and 100 points are awarded to the Gen Z member linked to the adult. Points can also be transferred from a parent or guardian and families can pool or combined both Club Z and Gen Z points together to redeem them for items in the catalogue. The Gen Z catalogue is also available online at <http://www.gen-z.com>. Promotion of the new Gen Z catalogue will include ads in Zellers weekly circular, created in-house. PR for Zellers is handled by Buzz Marketing & Public Relations Inc. of Toronto.
