Following the agency's recent expansion of its client roster, Environics Communications has added five new employees to its Toronto office. Tina Gladstone joins Environics as a senior consultant. Laura Mergelas and Deborah Rowe joins the agency's advanced technology team as senior consultant and consultant, respectively. Teresa Santaguida is appointed an account coordinator and Jennifer Bruce comes on board as an executive assistant. Prior to joining Environics, Gladstone was PR and marketing manager for a Toronto-based new media research and consulting firm. Mergelas was the public relations specialist at Platform Computing. Rowe was most recently an associate editor at Plesman Communications, Santaguida is a recent public relations post-graduate from Seneca College and before joining Environics, Bruce was an executive assistant for a property management company.
Tribute Entertainment Media Group has appointed David Higgins national account manager for Kids Tribute magazine. Prior to joining the quarterly publication, Higgins held a similar position at Youth Culture Inc. in Toronto.
