APEX BUSY WITH RECENT ACCOUNT WINS AND PROJECT ASSIGNMENTS

Toronto-based Apex Public Relations has been busy the past few months after picking up three new accounts and four new project assignments. In February the agency was awarded the AOR appointment for Black Photo Corporation based in Markham, Ontario. Apex got the account following a competitive pitch with an unconfirmed number of agencies. The incumbent was Strategic Objectives of Toronto. Shortly following the Black Photo account win, the agency picked up the AOR title for Vancouver-based Sierra Systems in March. Apex had previously worked with Sierra on a project completed for another client. In April, Apex began its relationship with Toronto-based Grand & Toy after being named agency-of-record in an agency competition. Prior to Apex's appointment, the company worked with a freelancer for its public relations needs. Toronto-based Campbell Soup Company hired Apex in February to launch a school soup project and a two-month Spring campaign was the assignment the agency picked up from The Bank of Montreal Mortgages. The campaign, which runs until the end of the May, included several new product launches. Jamieson Laboratories of Toronto hired the agency for a public relations campaign to support the launch of its new allergy remedy Allercept late April and Toronto-based Jergens Canada, last week, awarded Apex a project assignment for its Biore skin care brand. The assignment includes several new product launches for the brand.
