GCI SPRINGS INTO SEASON WITH TRIO OF NEW WINS

GCI Group of Toronto has announced the addition of three new business wins to its client roster. Within the past six weeks, the agency has been chosen as the public relations agency-of-record for Toronto-based Targetnet, was awarded the Triversity Inc. account and has been tapped to handle the North American public relations for U.S.-based BK Entertainment. Targetnet, which offers targeted e-commerce and online advertising solutions, has turned to GCI for media and investor relations support. The agency was awarded the account in a competitive pitch with an unconfirmed number of agencies. Previously the account was handled in-house. Triversity Inc., which specializes in transaction software for the retail industry, has turned to GCI for trade show support, media relations and financial communications. The company previously worked with a number of agencies on a project basis. BK Entertainment is a supplier of bingo-related products and equipment. GCI will provide strategic communications counsel, corporate reputation management and litigation support services. The company awarded GCI the business following a referral from a previous client.
