MIRVISH PRODUCTIONS LETS KING OF JUNGLE LOOSE ON CITY STREETS

Toronto-based Mirvish Productions has let a lion loose on the streets of that city with a new mobile billboard campaign through Motomedia Advertising of Woodbridge, Ontario. The four-week campaign, which broke yesterday, uses Motomedia's backlit "billboards on wheels" vehicles to promote Disney's musical The Lion King, now playing at the Princess of Wales Theatre in Toronto. The mobile billboards are designed to draw focused attention from pedestrians and rush hour traffic, according to Motomedia's newly-appointed vice president of sales and operations, Michael Gillissie. Advertising for Mirvish Productions is done by Rossignol & Associates of Toronto.
