The National Post has added three employees to its advertising department. Greg Brandshaw has been appointed classified manager, Mary Beth Carter has been named retail sales manager and Andrea Tidy has been appointed business development manager. Brandshaw joins the Post from NOW, where he held the same title, while Carter and Tidy were both recently with Publicor Magazines, Carter as director of advertising and Tidy as account manager.
Sabre Group Marketing Services Inc., based in Markham, Ontario, has added Alex Jovetic to its staff. Jovetic joins Sabre as account manager. Most recently he held the same position at PJB Marketing and Sales in Mississauga, Ontario.
Michael O'Connor Clarke has been named vice president of Cohn & Wolfe Toronto and director of the agency's technology practice. Clarke joins Cohn & Wolfe from software firm Hummingbird Communications Ltd., where he was vice president of corporate communications. In his role as VP at Cohn & Wolfe Clarke will act as senior strategic counsel for the agency's technology practice. Clarke will be working with clients including Compaq Canada, Lotus Development, Intel Corporation and Epson Canada.
