MOSAIC GROUP INVESTS IN MEDIUM ONE

Mosaic Group Inc. of Toronto is expanding its e-marketing services following a strategic investment in a Toronto-based interactive agency. The investment gives Mosaic Group a 52% equity stake in Medium One Productions Inc. Medium One has offices in Toronto and Montreal and builds interactive products and marketing materials. Clients of the interactive agency include: Royal Bank of Canada, Classwave Wireless, Cincinnati Bell, Kanetix.com and Chapters. "We are experiencing a general shift of business from traditional sales channels to e-commerce, inspiring companies to seek out innovative ways to market themselves on the Web," Michael Skea, president of Mosaic Group's e-commerce division said in a release. Revenues for Medium One this year are expected to be more than $4 million. Financial details regarding the investment were not disclosed. Medium One has 45 employees.
