COPPERTONE LETS THE FUN SHINE IN
By Adnews Staff
Coppertone, in partnership with The Canadian Pediatric Society of Ottawa, has launched a bilingual children's book called Block the Sun, Not the Fun. The book is designed to provide parents and children with safety tips for when they are out in the sun. Scholastic Canada, based in Markham, Ontario, will distribute the books to elementary school teachers and students across Canada free of charge through its April Book Club program. The books are also being made available to pediatricians across Canada. Block the Sun, Not the Fun will be given out at Coppertone sampling programs in Toronto and Montreal and will be distributed during the summer-long KIDSUMMER program in Toronto. Public relations activities promoting the book are being handled by Cohn & Wolfe of Toronto. The Coppertone line of sun safety products is manufactured by Schering-Plough HealthCare Products Canada of Mississauga, Ontario.
