NEW LEMON-GINGER DRINK FROM CLEARLY CANADA TRE CHIC

Vancouver-based Clearly Canadian Beverage Corporation has introduced a new Tré Limone or "Three Lemons" sparkling lemon-ginger drink with a European flare. The brand marks the company's first move into the alternative beverage category and is the second major brand introduction for Clearly Canadian this year, the first being the launch of its redesigned sparkling water brand in March. Tré Limone, which Clearly Canadian says is inspired by European cafe sodas, began rolling out to stores in mid-March. In-store displays and POP materials feature a European style and will be supported with regional sampling programs and trade advertising in national publications. Tré Limone features the same shrink-sleeve packaging as Clearly Canadian's sparkling water brand and is available in regular and diet versions. The drink is being targeted to those in the 18-34 year-old age group who tend to be health conscious. Promotional materials and advertising for Tré Limone was done by Karacters Design Group of Vancouver.
