J.D. EDWARDS SOUNDS CANADIAN E-BUSINESS ALARM
By Adnews Staff
Toronto-based J.D. Edwards Canada Ltd. has launched an advertising campaign to spread the message that companies in Canada are lagging when it comes to e-business. The campaign was created by Toronto-based Communique. It targets senior corporate executives. A 30-second television spot is being supported with Web banners, print advertising, Web site links and "belly wraps," which are paper wraps tied around the Globe & Mail and Report on Business Magzine. The spot depicts a doomed future for companies that do not take up e-business. The campaign launched Monday and runs until the end of the fall season. J.D. Edwards Canada, a subsidiary of J.D. Edwards based in Denver, Colorado, is a supplier e-business software.
