COMMUNICATIONS GROUP POINTING IN RIGHT DIRECTION

The Communications Group of Toronto is touching the e-commerce industry after winning the public relations assignment for TouchPoint Technologies Corporation of Mississauga, Ontario. TouchPoint distributes and resells public access interactive terminals/kiosks throughout North America. The agency was awarded the assignment through a contact from another client. TouchPoint's terminals/kiosks can be fully customized with features such as receipt printers, credit card readers, ticket printing, email and touch screens. The kiosks also provide options for advertisers in reaching a specific target market. The company, headed up by Anila Ladha as president and Shamira Jaffer as vice president, works in partnership with Australia-based design manufacturer company Neo Products, which can custom design the shape of the terminal/kiosk for the company. TouchPoint is promoting its product through trade shows, print advertising in trade magazines and public relation activities. Advertising for TouchPoint is done in-house.
