TELUS CALLS ON 24/7 CANADA

Canada's second largest telecommunications company, Telus, has extended its relationship with Toronto-based 24/7 Canada Inc. The Burnaby, B.C.-based telecom has modified its current Web advertising representation agreement with 24/7 to include Alberta.com. Telus and 24/7 first starting working together when 24/7 began handling advertising sales for Telus' flagship site MyBC.com. "24/7 Canada has done a great job for us on MyBC.com so it was only natural that we looked to them to represent our Web ad sales for Alberta.com," Jill Schnarr-Sadgrove, executive producer of MyBC.com and Alberta.com, said in a release. She also added that Telus intends to further expand its relationship with 24/7 as the company rolls out its local portal network in eastern Canada this summer. Alberta.com joins 24/7's group of Web sites in Western Canada. This group includes BCTV, CHEK TV, The Weather Network and Webpersonals.
