NIKE CANADA RUNNING QUEBEC AD CAMPAIGN

A new advertising campaign from Nike Canada Ltd. of Thornhill, Ontario is running throughout Quebec promoting Nike's new Air Brazen shoe. The "Whatever" campaign features sprinter Bruny Surin performing a variety of activities in several different sports. The tagline "Versatility: one shoe for any sport" is used in the campaign targeting athletes of any sport including tennis, basketball, running and skydiving. Thirty-second English and French television spots are being supported with the creation of cross-training zones inside the Berri Metro subway station in Montreal. Mini soccer fields and basketball courts will be created in the station along with a wall-climbing zone featuring a larger-than-life photograph of Surin. Further executions of the campaign will include a 20-by-60 foot mural and four 12-by-16-foot posters. Nike's new Air Brazen is a lightweight, training shoe. The campaign was done by Cossette-Communication-Marketing of Montreal.
