ST+C PERFORMING FOR THE CANADIAN STAGE COMPANY

Toronto-based Scott Thornley + Company has been named advertising agency-of-record for The Canadian Stage Company. The agency was awarded the account without a review. ST+C will begin work on the Toronto-based company's 2000/2001 season's marketing materials as well as work on advertising for the remainder of last year's season as well. The first projects the agency will complete for its newest client will be a direct mail campaign to previous subscribers which will be part of a renewal effort beginning in mid-February and the creation of a client prospecting brochure for the general public and single ticket buyers in March. The Stage Company is also looking at increasing its presence in outdoor advertising and considering radio and/or television promotion this year as well.

In other ST+C news, the agency's digital media division STC WebWorks is developing a new Web site for Dogs With Jobs, a Canadian documentary television series on the Life Network. The new Web site is the next phase of marketing for Dogs With Jobs. The site will launch in March 2000 and will feature "amazing dog stories", "training tips" and "dog park" a virtual dog park where owners leave messages and chat online.
