MINUTE MAID SQUEEZES STARCOM WORLDWIDE

The Minute Maid Company Canada Inc. has further extended its relationship with Starcom Worldwide after assigning the Toronto-based agency the media buying assignment for its brands. Starcom, already held the media planning business for the company. Toronto-based Minute Maid Company's brands include Five Alive and Minute Maid. The $5.5 million assignment consolidates Minute Maid with the Coke agency-of-record assignment already being handled by the agency. Coca-Cola is the parent company of Minute Maid. The incumbent on the media buying assignment was Optimedia.
