Cohn & Wolfe has a new face on its Toronto team. The agency has appointed Kate Jobling to the position of vice president and director of the technology practice. Jobling joins Cohn & Wolfe from her own communications consulting company she operated in Nova Scotia.
Famous Players Inc. has appointed Joanne Fraser as vice president of corporate affairs. Fraser joins Famous Players from Viacom Canada where she was managing director.
National Post has hired three new staffers to strengthen its online operations. Martin Byrne has been appointed director of National Post Online. He comes to his new position from Communicopia Inc. where he was project director. Lisa Stuart joins the team as director of sales and marketing. Most recently Stuart was director of sales and marketing at Financial Post DataGroup. Nancy DeHart takes on the role of executive producer of National Post Online. Most recently she was National Post Online editor. All three appointments are effective immediately.
