DOMINO'S DELIVERS AD ACCOUNT TO DEUTSCH

Domino's Pizza Inc. of Ann Arbor, Michigan delivered its creative advertising account to Deutsch of New York. Deutsch was awarded the account following an agency review that included J. Walter Thompson and three additional unnamed agencies. Incumbent Campbell Mithun Esty of Minneapolis, Minnesota was originally participating in the review but stepped down before a decision was made. Deutsch will be responsible for brand communications including: television, radio and print creative for Domino's $100 million advertising account. The pizza chain's media buying services will remain with J. Walter Thompson of Detroit, African American advertising will remain assigned to Don Coleman & Associates of Detroit and Hispanic advertising will remain with Marti Flores Priesto & Wachtel of San Juan, Puerto Rico. In Canada, advertising for Domino's 200 locations will continue to be handled in-house by Calgary-based Domino's Pizza of Canada.
