BRAMALEA CITY CENTRE HELPING CHRISTMAS WISHES COME TRUE

The Bramalea City Centre is greeting the holiday season by giving its customers what they really, really want. The regional shopping centre is launching a new holiday season ad campaign to promote its new gift registry program. Beginning this week, the six-week campaign will include outdoor advertising on billboards and transit shelters as well as print ads in newspapers. A direct-mail launch, a three-week radio program and in-store promotions will support the holiday campaign. The tag-line "Get what you really, really want for Christmas", is designed to highlight the centre's first of its kind gift registry program. The service allows customers to visit their favorite stores, complete a gift idea card and return it to the customer service centre. Then customers just tell their family and friends their Christmas list is waiting at the centre. As an added bonus, gifts purchased from the gift registry list will be wrapped free of charge and the purchaser given a $5 Bramalea City Centre gift certificate. The campaign, from Toronto-based G/Comm Marketing Inc., is designed to boost sales, increase store traffic and reduce the number of returns. PR for Bramalea City Centre is handled by The Communications Group of Toronto.
