CRIMESTOPPERS REACHES OUT TO THOSE WHO KNOW
By Adnews Staff
A new television advertising campaign starting today and running for four weeks will address domestic violence reporting to Crime Stoppers. The Ministry of the Solicitor General's Office, the Ontario Women's Directorate, the Chief Firearm's Office and the Ontario Association of Crime Stoppers have partnered together in targeting those individuals with knowledge of domestic abuse cases. The television ads depict domestic violence and appeal to people who have knowledge of domestic abuse to call it in. The television advertising will be seen on stations including CityTv and Global. The campaign is running in Ontario only. The goal of the new campaign is to make communities more aware of Crime Stoppers as well as assist all victims of crime in making environments safer.
