TOY STORE CHAIN TEAMS UP WITH VISA

Toys "R" Us of Paramus, New Jersey and the Bank of New York are offering a co-branded Visa card. Users can get free toys and clothes at Toys "R" Us, and points toward free children's travel on airlines and cruises. Shoppers using the card earn a 3% rebate on future purchases at Toys "R" Us and 1% at other stores. In Canada, Toys "R" Us is looking at the idea, but hasn't approached any banks yet, finance vice-president Joanne Pearson told Adnews last week.
