PORSCHE HAS NEW MEDIA BUYING AGENCY

Hilary Thom Media was given the keys to the Canadian portion of the Porsche North America media account last week. The Toronto agency won the business in a competition with one other unnamed agency. Canadian creative for Porsche is done by the Coyote Marketing Group of Toronto. Harrison, Young, Pesonen & Newell of Toronto had been doing media buying since January, but California-based Porsche North America decided to take a look at all of its marketing partners, Coyote president Bob Wyatt told Adnews yesterday. Before January the entire Canadian account was with DDB Needham Worldwide in Toronto.
