Palm Publicité Marketing of Montreal has added three new members to its staff. Nicolas Daneau has been hired as art director. Previously he was a graphic artist for DKY. Annie Trudel has signed up as a translator. Her prior experiences include stints at Canadian Airlines and HFC. Daniel Mercer, having worked as a consultant to Palm in the past, has now joined the agency as director of the computer department.
Toronto-based Playdium Entertainment Corp., operator of large-scale location-based entertainment centers, has hired Ron Caughlin to take on the position of vice-president of marketing. In this post he will handle the planning, development and management of integrated marketing plans for both existing and future Playdium locations. Previously Caughlin was vice-president of client services at Cossette Communications. He has also worked in the capacities of account director at BBDO Canada Inc. and director of marketing and sales for the World Basketball League.
