ANDERSEN LAUNCHES GLOBAL ADVERTISING CAMPAIGN
By Adnews Staff
Andersen Consulting, which has offices in Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal and Vancouver, has launched a global advertising campaign on the new "electronic economy". The campaign, created by Young & Rubicam of New York, includes seven print advertisements. The campaign will be adapted for the Canadian market by Young & Rubicam of Toronto in July. Ads will run in major business magazines and daily newspapers such as Canadian Business, The Globe & Mail and The National Post. The advertisements in the campaign, which will run until the end of the year, are tailored around the results of Andersen's 1999 E-commerce Survey of Canadian Businesses which was released in May. The ads were designed to target leaders of established companies as well as new players in the emerging electronic economy. Lisa McLachlan, director of marketing and communications for Andersen Consulting in Canada, told Adnews that this campaign is a lead up to a full blown e-commerce campaign that will launch in January which may include television and additional print advertising as well. The current advertising campaign for Andersen Consulting will also be launching in cities in Europe and the Asia Pacific.
